VASER ® LipoSelection ®, a form of ultrasonic liposuction, is a very effective method of removing unwanted fat from specific areas of the body. We prefer LipoSelection ® technology because of its efficiency over other methods of ultrasonic assisted lipoplasty, or UAL.

VASER ® LipoSelection ® uses ultrasonic energy to liquefy fat in the targeted area so the fat can be easily removed by a vacuum-powered cannula, or tube. Unlike other forms of ultrasonic liposuction, the VASER ® cannula uses gentle diffused energy to break up fat. This method means that the same results are obtained with half the ultrasonic energy of other machines, lessening the risk of such side effects as thermal damage, burning, or swelling.
